LYNX
Since our inception in 1971, Lynx has consistently outfitted golfers with exceptional equipment. Over the years we have worked long and hard to perfect our craft and change the way golf is played.
We have enjoyed a brief hiatus, during which time we sunbathed, drank sangria, went skinny-dipping – and created the most technologically advanced golf club ever made.
So now, armed with our exceptional range of clubs, we are back. We have never forgotten our core belief – that first and foremost, golf is played for fun. This drives our commitment to you, the player. To enhance the experience for each and every one of you out there on the course, whatever your handicap.
We place our customers at the very heart of our business, wholeheartedly embracing and welcoming collaboration, feedback and ideas.
Lynx remains a family owned business, a close knit team proud to continue building on our reputation and heritage as one of golf’s premier manufacturers of equipment, still committed to delivering the ultimate in technology, desirability, innovation and style.

MacGregor Golf
MacGregor Golf Company's origins date to the end of the 19th century and a company called Crawford, MacGregor and Canby, which manufactured wooden shoe lasts in Dayton, Ohio. The firm, which had been founded in 1822 as the Dayton Last Company, was co-owned by the Crawford brothers, John MacGregor, and Edward Canby. On a trip to Europe, Canby was introduced to the sport of golf, which had originated there and was especially popular in Scotland. Sensing a business opportunity if it became popular in the United States, he put his company's woodworking expertise to use and began manufacturing golf clubs with persimmon wood heads and hickory shafts.

Birmingham
Ben Sayers as a company was founded in 1873 and is thought to be the oldest golf company in the world.
Apart from making clubs and carrying out repairs, Ben Sayers first venture was in making golf balls.
Ben’s first shop was a lean-to shed adjacent to the new 18th tee at North Berwick Golf Club. It was from this shed that he started to aquire a reputation both as a player and teacher. Over the years he played in many famous golf matches. Such matches attracted terrific interest and took place at North Berwick Golf Club, St Andrews Golf Club, Old Prestwick Golf Club and other famous courses of that time. The matches were watched by crowds of 2,000 to 3,000 and fairly high stakes were played for.
He played in the Amercian open of 1914. He played in 23 British Open Championships from 1880 to 1923.
